Can I hire you just to file my taxes, without bookkeeping?
Short answer
Yes, DeCypher offers tax filing on its own, but we don't recommend it for most creators, because a tax return is only as good as the books and strategy behind it.

Filing without bookkeeping and tax strategy is like having a car without an engine. When we only file, we work from what you hand us: a spreadsheet, a notes app list, a stack of 1099s. We can't check whether a write-off was missed, whether a personal purchase slipped in, or whether payroll was set up right.
Here's what we see on returns filed that way:
- Round-number expenses, like exactly $600 for subscriptions, which can draw IRS attention
- The wrong business code instead of the one for independent creators (711510)
- The simplified home office deduction when the actual-expense method would have been larger
- Income that doesn't match what actually hit the bank account
With weekly bookkeeping, we catch write-offs as they happen. With tax strategy, we can plan moves like an S-Corp election or a Solo 401(k) before December 31, when they still count.
If you still want filing only, it runs under its own short engagement letter, priced on your consultation.
