What's the best business bank account and credit card for creators?
Short answer
The best setup is a business checking account in your LLC's name, one business credit card used only for business, and a separate high-yield savings account for taxes. Which bank you pick matters less than keeping those accounts separate.

What to look for in a business checking account:
- Reliable sync with QuickBooks. Some banks don't connect well, which means manual statement uploads every month.
- Low or no monthly fees
- Easy ACH payments from brands and platforms
- Opened in your LLC's name and EIN, not your personal name
Our clients commonly use Chase and Mercury. If you want a bank built specifically for creators, look at Karat.
What to look for in a business credit card:
- Rewards that fit how you spend. If you travel for content, transferable travel points can cover flights and hotels.
- Autopay from the business account, never from personal
- Business credit history in your company's name
Two setup rules:
- Don't treat PayPal as a bank. Move money to business checking.
- Put your tax money somewhere you won't touch it, like a high-yield savings account.
