I need to talk to my spouse or parent first. What should we look at together?
Short answer
Bring them to your second call, and look at three things together: your last tax return, this year's tax projection with and without strategy, and the plan and payment option that fit your cash flow.

We'd rather have your spouse, parent or business partner on the call than have you explain it secondhand. If they can't make it, we can reschedule, or share the call recording so they can watch it.
What to go over together:
- Your last return. Where the money went and what could have been done better.
- This year's projection. What you'd owe with no strategy, and what each strategy could save.
- The investment. The plan, the payment option and how it fits your cash flow.
- Your time. What we'll need from you each month.
If you're married, your spouse's situation can matter for taxes too. A spouse's W-2 income changes your tax bracket, and filing jointly or separately changes the math.
Questions worth asking each other:
- How much are we paying in taxes now, and how much could we be keeping?
- Can we handle the payments without stress?
- Do we trust this team to be our finance team?
